Calendar20232019Calendar (2019, 2023), comprising twelve panels representing each month
from January to December of the year it was made, explores the concept of
a device that divides the flow of time into discrete compartments.
By segmenting borderless time into the unit of day and juxtaposing one next
to another, the series serves as a reminder that perceiving time through this
sequential structure often results in a sense of disconnection and isolation,
rather than continuity and duration.
