Open Studio at Acme London Residency
Acme Fire Station, London
December 12, 2024
During my three-month residency at Acme Fire Station, in partnership with the Hanwha Foundation of Culture, I immersed myself in a work/live space where the boundaries between daily life and artistic practice get blurred. The way living intertwined with working—how routines shaped creation and vice versa—became a central part of my experience. To highlight this entanglement, I chose to keep the furniture I used throughout the residency, integrating it into the installation. The open studio reflects this process, capturing the fluid relationship between the domestic and the artistic, where work doesn’t just happen in the studio but emerges in the midst of everyday life.
